Dosages and advice on taking CBD: General

From our duty of information and advice and aware of the important demand for information about CBD (Cannabidiol) and cannabinoids, we strive every day to best inform users and health professionals, in strict compliance with the legal framework that is imposed on us.

1. Dosages and generic advice on professional preparations, rich in CBD (Cannabidiol) :

Find your tolerance threshold:

The following recommendations are based on international scientific literature:

To find the right dosage for you, start gradually. Fora weight of 70kg do 70*0.75 = 52.5mg

If the professional preparation available in pharmacies comes in drop form, divide the daily dosage by the number of milligrams contained in one drop:

daily dosage / mg contained in one drop) = number of daily drop(s) to be used.

ex: daily dose: 52.5mg

if 1 drop = 12.5 mg

Number of drops of preparation: 52.5mg/12.5mg = 4.2 or 4 drops

IF the desired result is slow to appear, increase the quantity by up to twice the previous amount, then repeat the operation until the desired effect is achieved. You can gradually increase the dosage to 10mg to 25mg per kilo per day, always in 1 to 2 daily doses.

Depending on the subject's weight and the desired effects, effective average doses often begin to be felt from 30mg to 40mg per day.

Note that in high doses, CBD can cause drowsiness.

2. GENERAL CBD (Cannabidiol) PRODUCTS :

As CBD is a safe product with very few side effects, the dosage should be determined gradually, starting with a minimal dose.

The presence of less than 0.2% THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) in a product makes it impossible to become addicted and feel any mental or psychoactive effects. These products provide soothing, relaxing effects. At too high a dosage, cannabidiol may have a sedative effect.

Only one thing to watch out for; interaction can occur, like grapefruit, with drugs metabolized by the liver/cytochrome P450. Their effects may be diminished OR amplified, depending on the case.

High doses may cause drowsiness.

You are therefore advised to seek medical advice before taking any medication combined with cannabinoids.

    Dear Sir,

Thank you for your confidence in our products and for your question. Here is the answer we can give you in complete transparency:

We have indeed changed our wording.

Our product is now 100% hemp, with a base of cold-pressed Oakseed oil, rich in omega 3, omega 6 and vegetable proteins.

We have also switched to Full Spectrum extraction of higher-quality cannabinoids, which is more costly to produce.

Our previous range that you ordered was based on olive oil and contained only isolated CBD.

International scientific literature, as well as our own quality tests, highlight the usefulness for the end-user of a full Spectrum formulation, containing the full spectrum of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids, enabling an "entourage effect" to be achieved, improving the bioavailability of active substances.

If, however, you prefer our older formulation based on olive oil and isolated CBD, we can supply it on request.

    Dear Sir,

Please note that Swiss and European legislation strictly prohibits us from promoting the benefits of cannabis and its derivatives. We are therefore legally unable to offer medical advice.

On the other hand, we can provide you with information on the international scientific literature. It states that everyone's sensitivity to the active substances in cannabinoids is different. It is therefore advisable to take the drug gradually, starting with a small amount and increasing it in 3-4 day increments, until the desired effects are achieved.

In international literature, pain symptoms usually start to be affected at around 10mg/kilo per day.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
