How long have you been in the profession?

I officially launched my site in 2019! But for several years friends had been asking me to help them when their pets had health or behavioral concerns.

Why did you choose naturopathy?

I had cats with many chronic illnesses, and allopathic medicine was unable to cure them or improve their condition. I'd been familiar with human naturopathy for many years, so I tried to help them via this route too. But at the time there were very few practitioners in the field, so I didn't know where to turn to treat my animals naturally. So I decided to train myself.

How did you hear about Swiss Medical Cannabis CBD products and how long have you been using/advising them?

I heard about CBD by chance via an article. After doing my homework, I set out to find a quality Swiss supplier with a respectful, chemical-free culture. Swiss Medical Cannabis quickly convinced me that your products had all the qualities I was looking for, and I've been using them for two years now.

What do you think about taking CBD therapeutically?

I find it a highly relevant and effective complement to or substitute for chemical medication, depending on the severity of the situation.

On which animals do you use our CBD oils for animals and how (dosage and recommendations for use)?

Most are cats, dogs and horses. Here's the calculation I recommend to my customers for the minimum dose, based on recommendations from international scientific literature:

Animal weight x 0.75 = Minimum daily dosage in mg
Daily dosage in mg ÷ mg of CBD contained in 1 drop = Number of drops to be given per day

CALCULATION EXAMPLE FOR 3%
Starting data: 1 drop at 3% = 1.75 mg CBD / Animal weight = 4 kilos

- 4 x 0.75 = 3 mg daily dosage
- 3 ÷ 1.75 = 1.71 = 2 drops per day, divided into 1 or 2 doses

In what situations do you recommend CBD for animals?

Most of the time, I recommend CBD for chronic pain, such as arthritis or old age. I also recommend it for nervous, stressed, aggressive or destructive animals, as a complement to Bach Flower Remedies.

What kind of feedback do you get from your customers?

They're all delighted! I've had nothing but positive feedback. Very rarely, some of them hadn't seen any results, but by gradually increasing the dose, it always worked in the end.

Can you tell us about one of the animals that uses our CBD Swiss Medical Cannabis products?

I recommended your products to the owner of Tempo, a 26-year-old horse suffering from joint pain. He was becoming increasingly prostrate in his paddock, no longer eating and having little contact with his fellow horses. After taking CBD, he quickly regained his appetite, started playing with his paddock mates again and the quality of his coat improved too!

I think that for animals with a delicate palate, such as cats and some dogs, a palatable taste will be all the more appreciated and easier to catch!
