Hemp is 100% legal in Europe, if it comes from one of the hemp varieties listed in the table of authorized hemp seeds in the European Union, certified to contain less than 0.2% THC.
In Switzerland, hemp is considered a narcotic once its THC content exceeds 1%.
The varieties distributed by SMC Laboratories® contain little or no THC. They are, however, designed to be extremely rich in CBD/CBDa and other cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes.
No, no authorization is required for retailers. We are, however, subject to tax on tobacco substitutes, VAT and a setback number.
